James Broadus - President
With over 25 years of telephony experience and over 15 years of computer experience, Jim has kept pace with the communications field as he has changed from telephone systems to computer networks to the global internet and programming. For programming, believe it or not, coming from a hardware background actually helps in many ways.
He started drawing at an early age as a hobby and still enjoys drawing, but today he uses CAD and graphics software for his drawing.

Jonathan Broadus - Senior Developer
With 11 years in projects as both an employee and a contractor, Jonathan brings a wide array of development experience to HIS Communications. He's what we call a "natural developer". He can sit for hours writing code and hardly even realize time has passed. Programming in ASP.Net is what he enjoys most, but he also codes in VB.Net, HTML, ASP, PHP, etc. In fact, Jonathan has been a member of the IWA-HWG (International Webmasters Association -HTML Writers Guild) since 1998.

Product Development - HIS Communications has experience developing software applications for the commercial market as well. This too grows out of our desire to help people. Released in 2004, our OurClubID member management software is a low-cost solution that has enabled small clubs to maintain their rosters and take attendance with barcoded membership cards, giving accurate records of membership and activity levels which their officers can use to track the popularity of events and keep a finger on the pulse of their organizations. This product can still be purchased by clicking on the name (above) or icon (to the left). Though our major focus is now websites and custom desktop or web applications, we do still have this in stock. We are considering an update to this product in 2007.

Released in 2002, Our EmpDB Security Suite was an employee database and security software (now retired) designed to meet the needs of small companies to not merely keep up with their employees, but also distribute barcoded, photo security badges which could be scanned upon entry to the building or plant to verify employee identity during the post-9/11 security concerns.
